I was lucky to catch two performances of Shontal's work at a Financial Champions event at The Customs House, South Shields on 18th September. The first performance was a very stark and impactive look at how a person's life can be affected by spiralling debt. This certainly gave me food for thought and brought into focus the urgent needs of those who find themselves "Financially excluded." The second performance, although lighter in mood in parts, also put out a powerful message. Both performances included elements of audience participation, which were skillfully handled by the players. Well done, keep up the excellent work.

We have spent a wonderful day today with Shontal. Their work is incredibly engaging and the subject matter is important, topical and revelant. The performance of 'One family's story' was well delivered, and at times very funny, and we were all absolutely involved in the show and it's outcome. KeyRing cannot thank Shontal enough for sharing their skills with us and giving us a day to remember and also helping us open the doors to address the issue of debt in a more open and clear way. Thanks again, and we hope to work with you again soon.(KeyRing in Gateshead, Newcastle, North Shields, Darlington and North Yorkshire.)

I first came across Shontal in an earlier employment and immediately liked the method of using theatre as a way of engaging hard-to-reach groups. I've followed their progress every since and seen the positive impact of their work. If anyone has yet to experience the show then you need to hurry along before all the best seats have gone. At Blyth we're hoping to work in partnership with Shontal on a new script later in the year.

I saw a performance yesterday and was completly converted to this format for changing people's behaviour. The combination of subject knowledge and acting was amazing.
